Welcome to Blairmains –

Farm Shop & Coffee Bothy

The Blairmains Farm Shop and Coffee Bothy is a family run business, nestled at the foot of the picturesque Ochil hills, with the Wallace Monument in the background and surrounded by some of Scotlands most historic landmarks.  We opened our doors in June 2001 and as one of Scotlands earliest Farm Shops it quickly established itself not only as a place to buy all sorts of wholesome Scottish produce but also as a popular Coffee Shop.  Enjoy browsing our site and we look forward to welcoming you at Blairmains soon.

A Brief Family History

Now in our 5th generation, the Logans have farmed in this area since 1904. The Manor Powis Holstein Herd at Blairmains Farm was one of the oldest in Britain – its origins going back to the Powis herd, first registered with the British Fresian Society more than 80 years ago.

John milked his first cow when he was 4 years old and for more than 40 years he milked almost every day.

He hung up the milking clusters for the last time in the summer of 2001 when John and Elma Logan made the life changing decision to diversify from dairy farmers to shop keepers.

What was once a calf-house is now a bustling coffee shop and where the milking parlour once stood you will now find our quality ranges of furniture and gifts galore.
